Determination of bearing size
Operating Temperature
| GLYCODUR® A bearings can be used in the temperature range from -40 to +110 °C (-40 to +230 °F); temperatures up to +130 °C (+266 °F) are also permissible for a short period. GLYCODUR® F bearings |
| cover a much larger temperature range between -200 to +260 °C (-328 to +500 °F). This large range results from the special material combination used for the sliding layer with its excellent heat conductivity. |

Temperature Factor c3
| Beginning with a certain limit value of the operating temperature, the service life of GLYCODUR A as well as of GLYCODUR F bearings will increasingly be reduced. This is allowed for in the calculation by a temperature factor c3. |
